Carrot Juice To Lighten Your Eyes

)A carrot a day can keep the eye doctor away, saying goes way beyond what you think. I've been researching different methods to lighten your eyes naturally, even though I have green eye contact lenses, I want to have natural hazel eyes even when I'm not having my contact lenses on. I heard of this method, you take a carrot (baby carrots are the best because it doesn't have the hairs and stuff on it.) and place it into a blender and blend it until its liquid. Then you stir until its soupy like and doesn't have clumps in it. Afterwards you pour into an eye drop bottle and put it in the refrigerator. A minute later just put one drop of carrot juice into your eyes. I'm not for sure when you will see results, but I have heard that it takes a shorter time to lighten eyes than honey does.

  1. I slept with mine and woke up this morning with my eyes feeling heavy. It was hard to open them and when I did it was so red and it hurts.

    1. Then don't try it. It's funny how people have no problem putting eye drops in their eyes (filled with chemicals) but people have problems putting dulited carrot juice in their eyes (half water half carrot juice)

    3. http://www.wired.com/2013/03/just-an-eye-drop-of-poison/ If eye drops are dangerous to consume then why is it perfectly fine to put in your eyes? Your eye is an organ, it can absorb these chemicals into your blood vessels. Carrots is not harmful what's so ever and it's not straight carrot juice you mix it with distilled water how many times do I have to tell people this. Either way this post is old. Believe what you want but at least do research while you're at it.

  4. I heard to put the juice/ water on your eyelids so maybe try that first if you're weary about putting it in your eyes

  8. I am a fan of organic drinks and food so I used cotton balls soaked in carrot juice to clean my eyes and dropped a tip in my eyes then cleaned it with cold water again. In the morning my eyes were a bit hard to open, and they were mucus a bit reddish too. But I think it is good

  9. As someone who studied science and medicine, I please advise you to NOT follow anything mentioned in this post. Do NOT place carrots or honey into your eyes it is impossible to change eye color and may cause severe damage and can even potentially make you go blind.
If you must have colored eyes please consult an eye doctor about getting a prescription for colored contacts.
